Do acne patches have a calming effect on acne?
Now that I'm getting older, I'm using functional cosmetics, and lately, my skin feels quite healthy. I regret not starting sooner—in my 20s, or at the latest, in my 30s.
I have combination skin, with an oily T-zone and a dehydrated U-zone. Because of this, I can use most cosmetics without major issues. However, functional products were a bit different. Whether it was because the product was powerful or contained distinctly different ingredients, it took time for my skin to adapt, and I experienced skin troubles during that period. Now that the adaptation period has passed, I am gradually increasing my usage, but I still occasionally get small pimples that look like cystic acne. Since these pimples started appearing after I began using functional products, they do disappear over time, but I find myself needing this acne removal method when I have important appointments.
It appears next to the sides of my nose or around my chin. When I'm in a hurry, I just squeeze it out, which causes bleeding and scabs to form, making it difficult to apply makeup for a few days. In the meantime, I thought about trying a troubled acne patch, but since I have never used one before, I lack a lot of information about them.
I am wondering if acne patches are effective for soothing acne without squeezing it out, how long I should apply them, and which patch would be best.
