Would it be good to keep spraying mist on my redness?

It gets dry in the winter, and working under a heater causes my face to flush. I've heard that lowering the temperature is good for the skin, but since there are many people working in the office, I can't turn off the heater, so it's a real struggle. My face gets dry and flushed; is it okay to keep spraying mist? Some say it's bad because it strips moisture away, but wouldn't a cream mist be fine?
