Oh, finally a question about facial flushing has been posted!
I have had a tendency to blush easily since I was young. During my school days, I just thought it was because I was shy. However, after becoming a working professional, this has become a really big concern for me.
Meetings are especially difficult. Whenever I give a presentation in front of a few people, my face turns bright red and my voice even trembles... No matter how well I prepare, whenever I get nervous, my face flushes immediately, causing my confidence to drop and making me forget everything I said in the presentation.
Then one day, a friend recommended a dermatologist. At first, I was skeptical, but I decided I couldn't let it go on, so I visited, and the doctor diagnosed me with facial flushing. I realized that it wasn't simply because I was shy, but that there was a medical cause.
My teacher said it is because my autonomic nervous system is sensitive. They mentioned that my blood vessels expand easily because I react sensitively to stress, tension, and temperature changes... Plus, they said that the fact that it gets worse during meetings or presentations, like it does for me, is also related to 'social anxiety.'
But putting the reason aside, the main thing is that you want to cover up your redness well and look pretty, right?
Laser treatments or procedures are also kind of a financial burden, so...
Could you possibly share some tips on how to manage facial flushing?
