Hera Sensual Nude Balm with excellent moisturizing power

My skin gets so dry in the winter that I can't wear lipstick at all. It often cracks, bleeds, or causes cheilitis, so I have no choice but to use a highly moisturizing colored lip balm as a substitute. That is why I bought a Dior lip balm in the winter and was using it well; in my opinion, it has the best moisturizing power and doesn't cause flaking. However, as you know, Dior lip balms run out in less than a month, and they are very expensive. Also, while the moisturizing power is top-notch, the color payoff is on the weaker side, so I have always been looking for an alternative.

I heard on YouTube that the Hera Sensual Nude Balm has improved in moisturizing power and color since the renewal, so I decided to check it out. I have very fair skin (shade 13) and a Winter Cool tone, so I prefer dark lip colors to cover up a pale appearance. I was looking for a color with good pigmentation, and the Boysenberry shade seemed to suit Winter Cool tones well. That is why I purchased this color.

At first glance, it looks like a deep magenta or deep purple, but since it is a lip balm, the color doesn't appear as intense as it looks; instead, it applies transparently. It applies smoothly, doesn't cause dry skin flakes, and is very moisturizing. I carry it around and apply it every day, and I love how it gives my lips a healthy flush. Of course, the color payoff isn't quite as intense as lipstick, but I think it's rare to find this level of pigmentation among colored lip balms. It is really great to use as a substitute for lipstick.

It isn't too thick, so it's easy to apply even to fine areas, and it looks solid, so I think it will last quite a while. The color is a cool-toned shade with a purplish tint, so if you have a winter cool undertone, it makes your face look brighter, as if a fluorescent light has been turned on. I think I can get through the winter with Hera Sensual Nude Balm. It is a very satisfying product, and it is my favorite cosmetic purchase I've made recently.
