Hera Sensual Nude Balm, perfect for winter use

Every winter, I couldn't use lipstick because of my chapped lips and dry, flaky skin. I have moderately fair skin, roughly shade 21 or 22, and as a Spring Warm tone, coral-pink shades suit me well. Also, given my age, my complexion is important, so even if I don't wear makeup, I always make sure to apply lipstick. My natural lip color is quite dark, especially the lip line, so the color is really important to me when applying lipstick.

Hera Sensual Nude Balm is a colored lip balm, so it helps solve dry lips in winter, and I like that it provides a decent amount of color. It applies smoothly and keeps lips moisturized, but it doesn't feel too oily. The shade I am currently using is #142 Wildflower; it has a very light pigmentation and seems to be a slightly cool-toned color. When my daughter, who has light lips, applies it, the color shows up better, allowing for an innocent look, but when I, with darker lips, apply it, the color barely shows up at all. If you have darker lips, I think using a darker shade like Poppy would look pretty because the color payoff is better. Since there are various shades available, it is great to be able to choose and use a variety of options.

That is why I have already ordered a darker shade. It has great spreadability and moisturizing properties, making it a product hard to give up in the winter. Because of that, I think the darker shade would be perfect. If you want to use it instead of lipstick in the winter, you can go with the darker shade, but if you prefer to use it solely as a lip balm, the natural color is a good choice. The staying power isn't bad for a lip balm, and it's easy to carry around, so I always keep it in my bag. It is a luxurious product, making it a great gift for friends and acquaintances. Hera products are always great, so I really love this lip balm as well.
