I was looking for a colored lip balm because my lips felt extremely dry, even though it is summer.
Then, the Espoir Bare Glow Lip Balm was released as a new product, and the dark, deep red shade caught my eye.
So, this is the Darkpresso shade of the Espoir Bare Gloss Lip Balm that I chose.
It is not a sharp-looking product, but rather a cylindrical, pink, slightly chubby body. It is easy to hold.
The silver Espoir logo engraving stands out. When you open it, the lip color feels like a deep red wine or a reddish-brown.
The reason I chose this dark, murky lip balm color is that I wanted to try applying an intense and deep shade like this.
I was just thinking that since I felt like I would only use it once, I should look for a lip balm type that is easy to use all the time.
I thought that using a moisturizing, glowing type would make it easier to get started with dark-colored lipsticks.
As expected, when applied to the lips, it instantly relieves dryness, and since the color is intense, I really liked the pigmentation.
My lips tend to be a bit pale, so even when I applied this to my bare face, it didn't stand out and gave a full, natural flush.
When I applied it, the final dark shade was achieved after layering it three times. Rather than getting darker, it kept my skin moisturized, and even when reapplying, it wasn't sticky and felt comfortable.
When I wiped it off with a tissue, the color was the same as the first application. As expected, since it is a glow type, the lip color longevity was disappointing, but I figured it was fine since I could just touch up the color frequently for hydration.
The regular price is 24,000 won, but you can purchase it in the late 10,000 won range. I recommend it to those with warm undertones like me who prefer cool shades, as well as to those looking for deep colors regardless of their skin tone. I recommend this as a sophisticated colored lip balm that naturally complements your skin tone while replenishing moisture to dry lips.
