Will applying eye cream consistently have an anti-aging effect?

Lately, when I look in the mirror, I feel like the area around my eyes looks unusually tired.
I didn't used to worry about the wrinkles that appeared when I smiled, but lately...
I keep getting worried about wrinkles around my eyes ㅠㅠ So lately, I've suddenly become very interested in eye creams and anti-aging products.
But when I actually looked it up, opinions were really divided.
Some people say, “If you apply eye cream consistently, it definitely has an anti-aging effect,” and
Some people also say, “It’s not much different from regular moisturizer, it’s a waste of money.”
So I find myself wondering if consistently applying eye cream really has an anti-aging effect.
Has anyone actually tried using eye cream and seen anti-aging effects?
