Avène Xeracalm Nutrition Lotion

 

I like Avène Xeracalm Nutrition Lotion because it is a face and body lotion, so I can apply it all over my body!

I used up the 100ml a while ago, so nothing comes out even when I squeeze it haha.

 

I have atopic dermatitis and my skin is sensitive; it gets itchy and develops hives when it dries out in the winter. Since of this, I think I have tried almost all the famous body lotions.

 

But I was surprised when I tested the Avène Xeracalm Lotion at Olive Young because, even though it doesn't have a thick texture, it is highly moisturizing and absorbs well..! I love that it absorbs so quickly that I can apply it right after showering and put on my clothes immediately.

However, if you apply too much, it clumps up like dead skin, but since it is highly moisturizing even with a small amount, it is fine not to apply a lot.

 

 

The top one is Physiogel Facial Cream and the bottom one is Xeracalm Lotion; they are definitely thinner, aren't they?

But it doesn't lag behind in moisturizing power! I also liked that no oil came to the surface.

 

 

 

I'm using this product as a gua sha massage cream because it spreads so well! I don't like the greasy feeling of oil, so I used it as a lotion, and it was just perfect for keeping my skin moisturized.

 

 

I had a lot of leftover body oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, etc. at home, so I started mixing them together. It improved the moisturizing effect and reduced the typical greasiness of oils, so I'm using this method to get rid of them haha. I use a ratio of 2 parts lotion to 1 part oil!!

It is great to use as a moisturizing lotion, but it is also good for caring for nail cuticles or applying to damaged hair.

 

 

I used to take care of my heels with Paw Paw Cream, but I found that using Xeracalm Lotion was also effective because of its good moisturizing properties.

It’s perfect to apply lotion to your heels, wrap them in plastic wrap or parchment paper, and put on sleeping socks haha.

 

I'm also using it with perfumes that don't last long..!

Does anyone happen to use Santa Maria Novella Freesia perfume? It's my favorite, but I was always disappointed by the short longevity. However, the Xeracalm lotion has a subtle floral scent that pairs really well with it! It actually makes the longevity much better too, haha.

Personally, I think white musk or woody scents would also go well with it.
