Even though warm spring has arrived, my lips are still dry and rough. Since lipstick doesn't cover the rough areas, I ended up picking at the dead skin, which eventually caused wounds and made them look even worse.
I found some Vaseline in my vanity drawer at home. I tried applying it, and it feels nice and moisturizing. I've seen on YouTube and TikTok that applying Vaseline around the eyes is good for preventing wrinkles. Since the eye area is sensitive, I don't really believe claims that applying Vaseline works for me. I do apply it to my lips occasionally, though. I'm asking because I'm worried. Is it okay to apply Vaseline to my lips? I'm asking because my lips are also a sensitive area. Now that spring is in full swing, I want to apply bright lipstick smoothly.
If you are against using Vaseline, I would appreciate it if you could at least recommend a lip balm that can help alleviate dry lips.
