You can also make it into a color. If you mix unused lipstick with Vaseline, it makes a nice, subtle lip balm.

And when your skin is dry, just dab it on and apply a thick layer to soothe it. Also, if you apply it to your lips before bed, the dead skin cells will be completely smoothed out the next day.
