How to lower scalp temperature and prevent skin problems and hair loss.

1 When going out, use a parasol or wear a hat made of breathable material to prevent heat from directly reaching the scalp. However, if you have scalp inflammation, choose a loose-fitting hat and remove it frequently to allow for good ventilation.
2 If your scalp becomes red and itchy after going out, it is a sign that it has become sensitive due to heat stimulation. In such cases, use a shampoo containing cooling ingredients like menthol, peppermint, or aloe vera, or a shampoo specifically designed for sensitive scalps. When using a cooling shampoo, rinse lightly once first, as if pre-washing clothes, then lather the shampoo and massage the scalp evenly using your fingertips. Leave it on for 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Rinsing with brewed green tea at the end also helps soothe the scalp.
3 After shampooing, dry your hair partially using the cool setting on a hairdryer. Then, apply a scalp essence, mist, or hair tonic with cooling and soothing effects to your scalp and massage it in with your fingers to ensure full absorption. If you lack the strength to apply with your fingers, you can lightly pat it with a cushion brush.
4 Just like skin, the scalp is prone to flaking if it lacks moisture, so consume more than eight glasses of water a day to ensure sufficient hydration.
5 When your scalp is sensitive, it is advisable to consume plenty of foods beneficial for scalp health, such as black beans, pork, and seaweed, while reducing the intake of greasy or instant foods.
