A tip for when your makeup keeps caking due to dryness!
I used to have extremely oily skin, but as I got older, it became drier and shifted to combination skin. Because of this, my makeup often doesn't apply well or cakes depending on the situation. It’s really frustrating and upsetting when you’ve put so much effort into your makeup only for it to look patchy. While I was struggling with this, there was a period when I received an unusually large number of facial mists as gifts. So, I started spraying a mist evenly over my face before applying base makeup, and the cake-caking issue disappeared. However, here is a tip: spraying too close or excessively can cause the product to smudge, so it's best to use a mist with a fine mist spray and apply it evenly from a distance rather than directly in front of your face! If you don't have a mist, I recommend using a face mask before applying makeup.
The product I am currently using is a bit oily, so I tend to spray it after applying makeup.
I recommend a lightweight mist product that is closer to water than the one I am currently using.
