My Personal Picks from the September Olive Young Sale: Best & Worst Items 🥹

Hello! Today, I'm going to share an honest review of the best and worst items from the September Olive Young Sale, which I bought with my own money!

💚Best Item💚

 

The first best item I would like to introduce is the Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nuder Cushion.

First of all, I have combination skin that is roughly shade 17. So, I am using "Fair," the lightest shade available. To be honest, the Essential Skin Nuder Cushion itself isn't on the brighter side, so if your skin tone is similar to mine, you probably won't feel like your complexion brightens up even after applying it. That is why I actually find myself using this cushion often when I want to go for a natural, effortless look or a light, bare-faced vibe! Since it is a lightweight and moisturizing cushion, it is suitable for use all year round.

 

 

Next up is the Too Cool for School Art Class Protoge Pencil. I think many of you are already using this as your go-to item for aegyo sal (under-eye bags). The Art Class Protoge Pencil comes in a really wide variety of colors, so it's great to be able to pick the shade you want! Also, the shimmer isn't overwhelming, so it gives your aegyo sal a natural, soft look, and since it's a pencil, even beginners can use it easily.

However, if I carry it around in a pouch, the lead breaks easily—I don't know if it's just me, but that's why I tend to keep it at home and only use it there!!

 

 

🥹Worst Items🥹

 

The first is the Clio Sharp So Simple Waterproof Liner. Actually, I used this eyeliner so much that I repurchased it two or three times. However, ever since the renewal, whenever I use only the Sharp So Simple Waterproof Liner, it smudges so much that my eyes turn into panda eyes... Especially when I use it in the summer when I sweat a lot, the area under my eyes gets severely smudged, making me look like I just came back from crying. So, it has become one of my worst items.

 

The second item is the Round Lab Birch Hydration Sunscreen. I ended up buying this product because it is so famous as a sunscreen that makes makeup apply perfectly. I prefer a lotion-like texture, so I think I was satisfied with it when I first used it. However, whenever I used only the Birch Hydration Sunscreen, my makeup actually started to smudge even more, and I even got breakouts on my face. I guess it contained ingredients that didn't agree with me. So, after using it only two or three times, it became a "worst item" that I haven't taken out of my drawer since...
