Sulwhasoo Jaumsaeng Line Toner/Lotion

I changed my basic skincare products when I turned mid-40s.

In the past, I used a product that had both anti-wrinkle and whitening functions.

But now, I find myself worrying more about wrinkles than whitening.

I am using the Sulwhasoo Jaumsaeng line for my basic skincare routine, specifically the toner and lotion.

 

In the past, I thought that Sulwhasoo was something only people over 60 should use.

The case looks a bit old-fashioned and the scent smells like herbal medicine...

But now the case looks younger, and I've come to like the herbal medicine-like smell as well.

And looking around, I noticed quite a few people using Sulwhasoo products even at a young age.

It was a bit of a burden in terms of price, but I changed it into a gift for myself.

Since I don't tend to use cosmetics for very short periods, I think the shelf life is decent for the price.

 

I thought Sulwhasoo products would be thick and sticky.

But now that I've actually used it, I think it spreads well and absorbs well.

It applied surprisingly lightly without any stickiness.

I like it because it absorbs quickly.

I think it's better because the scent doesn't feel as strong as it used to be.

It had a slightly subtle grassy scent (like herbal medicine).

 

I like the case because it looks youthful yet luxurious.

You might wonder if the case is important, but...

I find myself subtly looking at the case. I guess that's just my taste.

 

My skin is not on the dry or oily side.

Still, as I get older, it feels like my skin is gradually becoming less oily in the winter compared to before.

That said, my face doesn't feel tight after washing it.

If I take good care of moisturizing in advance, I think my skin won't feel tight or dry even as I get older.

 

I think this product has good moisturizing properties as well.

It felt moisturizing after applying it. A moisturization that isn't heavy...

I think it is a product that is suitable for use all year round.

Some people say it's too thick to use in the summer...

I think that no matter what product I use in the summer, the user experience is different from that in the winter.

I wouldn't particularly recommend it to people in their 20s and 30s.

I would like to recommend this to people in their 40s and older, or to those in their 30s who feel their skin is dry.

 

When I use toner and lotion, I always find that the toner runs out earlier than the lotion.

This product also has more toner than lotion.

But it seems like the toner runs out first.

I used them at the same time... and I realized I used much more toner.

That is a bit of a shame, but... it's the same with other cosmetics, so... it's not inconvenient.

 

Everyone, please make sure to moisturize well during the winter season when things tend to get dry.
