Etude Glow Fixing Tint Review

I tried the Etude Glow Fixing Tint in shade 07, Cold Fuchsia. It is a glow tint, but the texture isn't greasy; it has just the right amount of gloss. It applies smoothly, though the gloss doesn't last very long. It applies with a shimmer initially, but over time, it absorbs into the lips like a Moon Tint, leaving a moderate stain. Cold Fuchsia is a cool-toned pink, so it suits cool skin tones very well. Since it is a pink with a slight neon tint, I think it looks best on fair skin. The color payoff is very vivid, just as it appears, and when applied to the lips, it makes the face look incredibly bright. It might look a bit intense at first glance, but a light application improves the complexion, so it is actually quite natural for daily wear. It pairs well with casual outfits for a lively look, so it can be used in various ways.

The color payoff is good and the shade is pretty, but the moisture doesn't last very long. Since applying only this during the dry transitional seasons or winter tends to accentuate lip flaking quite a bit, I usually soothe the dryness with a lip balm before applying the tint. I think it would be better to use in the summer rather than the winter. Those with chapped lips might find it drying.

The color is quite intense, so it looks pretty when applied with a gradient effect. However, if you apply it as a full lip, using it with a lip pencil allows you to create a beautiful over-lip look, which is great. This product is also quite affordable, offering good value for money, so I think it would be a good idea to buy and try out various colors. The color payoff is excellent, making it very versatile.
