Honest review of the Etude Fixing Tint Cool Pink on Top + Lip Pencil Pink Beige!

I've lived thinking I was a warm tone all this time, but I realized belatedly that cool-toned makeup suits me well, so now I find myself mainly using cool-toned cosmetics lol.

 

Last November, while searching for some nice cool-toned makeup, I noticed that the Etude Fixing Tint Cool Pink on Top color seemed popular, so I decided to buy the lip pencil set.

 

The price of the single item was in the 8,000 won range, and the lip pencil set was in the 15,000 won range, so I bought the lip pencil set, but...

I really love Fixing Tint and already own four of the existing colors, so I decided to try the new shades...

 

The lip pencil seemed to lack durability; the pencil tip snapped off right after the first use, so I have to press down hard to use it.

However, since Etude Fixing Tint is a matte tint that Heerang likes, I really loved the new product color, Cool Pink On Top!

 

It's a calm, cool pink color with a muted tint mixed in, so I think it would suit everyone from Summer Cool to Summer Mute tones.

It was a color that suited Heerang well, too, and when she wore it, people around her asked a lot what lip color she was wearing lol

 

My acquaintances also gave positive feedback, saying the color suited me perfectly, so I purchased it last November and have been using it very well until recently.

The color suits autumn and winter well, so honestly, I think it might look a bit too hot for summer.

 

It is a calm, cool pink mixed with muted tones, so it has a color tone that suits autumn and winter especially well >_<

Since it is a fixing tint, it applies moist and thin at first, but if you press your lips together or blend with a lip brush, it adheres tightly to the lips and sticks softly.

 

It is a liquid lip formula as commonly known, but it is an easy-to-control liquid lip that allows for the "smack-smack" motion!

The formula doesn't clump or smudge even when you rub your lips together, so you can think of it as a formula that even beginners can easily blend and control.

 

Since it is a liquid lip, it does not leave any staining, but it has incredible adhesion, so it is a product that lasts a long time thanks to its strong staying power.

If you use it with a lip pencil, you can experience a natural over-lip look and even longer staying power!

 

The Etude lip pencil color is

It comes in one color, pink beige.

I apply the Fixing Tint in Cool Pink on Top, a beige shade with a subtle pink tint, and then lightly touch the lip line and corners with a Lip Pencil in Pink Beige to create a natural over-lip look.

 

The lip pencil also has high adhesion, so using it with the fixing tint further enhances longevity. It easily withstands drinking water or eating snacks like jelly and chocolate, but please note that it will wear off after meals, so you will need to touch up your makeup!

 

If you don't eat anything, the effect lasts for a really, really long time.

It does come off after meals, but it fades nicely, so compared to other tints, the way it wears off looks pretty.

 

Etude Fixing Tint removes beautifully after meals without being bothersome, so I already own four colors. I was very satisfied with the color, texture, and longevity of the Cool Pink On Top shade—so much so that I use it often.

Cooling Pink on Top + Lip Pencil Pink Beige

The combination is such a perfect match that I end up using the lip pencil along with it haha.

Even if you apply just the Cool Pink On Top color, it is a calm, cool pink shade that is so pretty and sophisticated, but I use it together with the Pink Beige lip pencil.

 

It blends naturally and makes it easy to create an over-lip look, so my lips looked even prettier~

The Etude lip pencil even comes with a built-in cushion tip, so if you gently touch the lip line and corners of your mouth with the pencil and then blend with the cushion tip, it blends naturally for a clean finish.

 

I was able to do lip extension makeup easily and naturally. Since it is a product that helps with natural over-lip makeup, my lips look plumper and the gradient is perfect, so even the lip pencil is a great purchase.

I probably won't repurchase it because the durability is way too weak.

Still, the color was pretty, and the high adhesion gave it excellent staying power. It also paired really well with the Fixing Tint Cool Pink on Top color.

I've been using the two-piece set, and for those who use lip pencils as a necessity for over-lip makeup...

I think it would be fine to buy the Etude Fixing Tint Cool Pink On Top and the Lip Pencil Pink Beige together, but if you find lip pencils bothersome, I don't think you really need to buy the lip pencil as well!
