Recommended for cool tones! By Rodin Shading [Modern] available in 3 shades to choose from
This is the first time I've switched from the product I used to use.
There’s a reason people say Too Cool for School is the place to go for contouring.
I regret not buying this sooner...
Still, I'm glad to know this, even now.
The product I purchased is Too Cool for School's By Rodin Shading. Since I have a summer cool undertone, I bought the [Modern] shade, which is the cool-toned option! It has absolutely no redness, so I highly recommend it to those with cool undertones.
The set consists of three items: a pouch, a brush, and a shading product. I liked that it was convenient to carry around in the pouch.
I liked that there were both large and small brushes on both sides, so I could choose the one that best suited the blending area. It was also convenient not having to carry a bunch of separate brushes.
I usually use shade 21, and the colors are composed of shades that aren't overwhelming even for a 21, so I used it without any hesitation!
I don't usually do face shading; I tend to just shade the bridge of my nose. I typically use the middle shade on my eyebrows and the base of my nose, and the darkest shade on the sides of my nostrils. I mix the very last shade with other colors when I want to add a subtle shadow as an accent. I like doing it this way because it allows me to control the intensity (though honestly, the biggest issue is that it's a hassle). I think it's great that I can choose and use different shades like this since they aren't just single colors.
One downside seems to be that it tends to be a bit powdery.
So, having to wipe the mirror often was a hassle.
I feel like it would be good if only this part were improved.
Please take note if you are purchasing!
