A base product that doesn't emphasize dry patches over time

Matte foundation was fine in the summer, too.

Now that it's autumn and getting dry, even if I pay more attention to my skincare,

After a while, my makeup seems to cake and highlight dry skin flakes.

I'm wondering if it would be better if I switched to a moisturizing base product.

Are there any base products that don't cake and make the skin texture look good?
