Do people with small nails get manicures or nail care?

I went to a nail salon and found that my nails are on the smaller side, so even if I try to get a manicure, the surface area is too small.

I heard that there is a limit to how much you can style yourself.

Will my nail beds get longer if I take care of them consistently? Has anyone seen results?

I once tried filing the undersides of my nails and taking care of my cuticles on my own, but

I didn't feel like it was growing. I guess I should have been more consistent.

Are there any people who used to have small nails but saw their body surface area widen after treatment...?
