Is it impossible to completely get rid of blemishes that reappeared after laser treatment?
About 10 years ago, I had laser treatment to get rid of my freckles. I had heard that it is difficult to completely remove them with just one or two sessions, but I remember being completely moved by how clear my skin looked back then. However, that was short-lived... As we go about our daily lives, our skin is inevitably constantly exposed to sunlight and artificial lighting... As time passed, the melanin pigments started creeping back out. It upset me that they seemed to be settling over a larger area than before. While the freckles used to look like tiny dots made with a pen, the new ones take on the form of blemishes, resembling smudged water-based pen marks. On top of that, some age-related dark spots have accumulated, creating a dark discoloration all over my face. I am thinking about getting laser treatment again, but I’ve heard that getting them completely gone is impossible... Is truly clear skin now impossible? Was not taking good care of my skin after the first treatment the fatal mistake?
