Can I use the sleeping mask just like a moisturizer?

I have a Laneige Sleeping Mask at home.

But it feels a bit like gel cream.

I call it a sleeping mask

That thing you always have to apply before bed

I find that when I think too much about it while writing, I don't really feel like using it...?

So, I don't think it would matter much if you just thought of it as a moisturizer and used it comfortably, but do you guys really only use sleeping masks right before going to sleep?

I'm curious if you find it comfortable to apply.
