Do you solve dry skin during the changing seasons with a mist?

Hello. The weather has been so unpredictable lately, hasn't it? As a result, my skin condition seems to be fluctuating as well. It's especially bad because it's the change of seasons. How do you manage your skin when it gets dry during this time? Is it okay to spray a facial mist frequently? I've heard that hydrating mists actually strip moisture from deep within the skin, so I'm wondering if I should use a cream mist or an oil mist instead. I'm not sure if that would actually help alleviate the dryness a little. I'm curious to know how everyone is dealing with dry skin during this transitional season.
