Today is MOTD! I’ve brought you some great base makeup tips!

I'll get started right away!!

 

 

First, let's start with skincare after washing your face🙂

I tend to keep my skincare routine simple because I feel suffocated if I apply too much product before makeup.

 

1. Pad

First, lightly wipe your entire face with the pad! It is also a good idea to apply a mask to your cheeks for about 3 minutes before wiping with the pad!

If you gently wipe your entire face with this pack, it removes remaining dead skin cells, refines your skin texture before makeup, and most importantly, helps with the absorption of your next skincare product!

 

 

2. Serum

I applied a very light serum once!

The one I used is a serum that manages sebum and breakouts. It absorbs quickly without any stickiness at all, so it is a product I use frequently.

Hydrate your entire face with this moisturizing and lightweight serum!

I stop here because applying cream feels a bit heavy, but feel free to add more if needed!

 

 

3. Makeup base (tone-up cream is also acceptable!)

Now it's time to really dig in... but!

Before that, I'll apply a makeup base.

I applied a thin layer of tone-up base with UV protection!

It is for more thorough UV protection, and applying a moisturizing makeup base also creates an even skin finish and increases longevity.

 

Here, depending on your preference, you can substitute a tone-up cream or just sunscreen.

You may add a primer in the previous step!!

 

4. Concealer (1st)

Apply a high-coverage concealer for the first step of covering blemishes!

You don't need to cover it perfectly; just covering it roughly is fine.

 

After applying the cover, I sprayed a makeup fixer as a first step!

 

 

 

5. Cushion/Foundation

Now, let's upload it!

I have oily skin, so I love using matte cushions in the summer!

Because I applied a sufficient layer in the previous step, the matte cushion didn't look dry, cakey, or clump when I placed it on top. However, make sure to apply it thinly!! The key is to pat it in thoroughly, even if it is thin!!

 

6. Second step: Concealer + Powder

If there are still bothersome blemishes even after patting on the cushion, let's apply a thin layer as a second step!

(Liquid concealer is also good!)

At this time, I brightened the bridge of my nose with a light concealer and added shading with a dark concealer.

Once you've finished applying coverage, use a compact powder to neatly control any excess oil! It improves longevity and makes your skin look clean.

Apply it more thoroughly to the eye area and cheeks where you will apply eyeshadow or blush.

 

7. Secondary Fixer + Color Makeup

Apply a second spray of setting spray! You have now completed your base makeup with ultimate longevity 🫶🥹

 

After that, please apply the colors one by one!!
