I tried today's makeup using a total of 8 products😘
(I color-corrected it with concealer first.)
✔️Concealer
👉🏻 The Cover Perfection Triple Pot Concealer comes in three shades, allowing you to cover while providing even tone correction🧡
I loved this concealer even more because it melts completely smoothly onto the skin, providing thin coverage and close adherence♥
It felt like it adhered smoothly to the skin when applied, so it was easy to use!
The coverage is excellent; it adheres thinly and lasts a long time. The finish is on the semi-matte side, but it lasts a long time without drying out, so I liked it! Depending on your skin type, you might find it a bit drier, but it was fine for me. I'm going to layer a less drying Chanel cushion on top to add some extra coverage.
✔️Cushion
I keep my base makeup simple and just use a cushion.
The Chanel cushion I use has just the right amount of coverage. It isn't so heavy that it looks like I'm wearing heavy makeup, nor is it so lacking in coverage. For someone like me who wants to naturally conceal skin imperfections, it offers just the right amount of coverage that I'm satisfied with!!
It applied very lightly, and the skin finish looks quite pretty right after using the cushion. It’s not really dry, feels slightly moisturizing, and the coverage is natural.
Although it is described as a semi-matte cushion, it doesn't feel dry enough to make the skin feel tight, so even as someone with dry skin, I am using it comfortably!
Now that the weather is starting to get warmer, I find dewy cushions a bit heavy, but this one isn't too matte either, so it feels comfortable on the skin. That's why I used this cushion for my coverage again today! 🙌🏻😀
2) Eye makeup step
It's a product called Nude Mood!
It consists of nude yet soft shades, so I think it's perfect for daily eye makeup.
It is composed entirely of colors that give off a sophisticated, luxurious, and calm vibe! Pearl shadows with various particle sizes and pigmentation are interspersed throughout, which I think can serve as a nice accent to colors that might otherwise feel a bit plain🧡 This palette is the easiest to use for everyday wear, so I tried using it again today.
It's a slightly subdued, warm-toned color, but since it doesn't look dull due to too much yellow undertone, I used this palette for my makeup! The shimmer is really pretty too 👍🏻👍🏻
3) Brow makeup step
The color I use is 'Soft Brown,' which looks like a relatively light brown.
It is a brown color with little redness, a soft and calm shade, so it was good for daily use.
It also has a built-in screw brush on the other end of the pencil to tidy up the brow hairs. So, I drew my brows naturally overall and then combed them with the screw brush to create a more natural and pretty brow makeup look.
4) Shading step
I'm not doing overall contouring today.
I simply did some nose shading. The product I used for shading is Daisique Shading. The color payoff is great, and it’s neither too dark nor too light, so even someone like me with clumsy hands uses this 3-color shading set really well haha.
Since I like noticeable shading, I mixed two slightly darker colors for nose contouring. My nose is on the larger side, so I focused the shading on the inner part of my nose.
I used it with the Daisique shading brush, and I think the shading was added really naturally!
5) Cheek makeup step
(I used a powder blush with a subtle pearl shimmer.)
I applied a small amount to a powder brush to add a touch of life to my cheeks! Since it is a shimmer blush, I think controlling the amount before applying it was especially key.
I used a calm pink blush with shimmering pearls. The pearls sparkle softly, and since it's a vibrant pink, it looked really attractive and pretty when used as a cheek blush haha. It creates a look that's kind of like using a highlighter and a blush together💕
6) Lip makeup step
(I used two products for the lips. I used a lip maker for the lip base and to outline the corners of the mouth, and I applied a tint lightly to the center of the lips and blended it to create a pretty, lively look.)❤️💋
I drew a nice lip line with the shading liner from the lip maker, and applied a base color lip to the inside.
The lip base color suits me well too, so I've been using this product a lot lately.
I defined the lip area to add volume and applied tint to the center to complete a gradient lip!!
Since the Over Lip Maker is quite matte, it doesn't pair well with moisturizing lip products. I recommend using it with a lip product that has a matte texture. That is why I used it with the Rainbow Mansion lipstick, and it looked really nice and matched well haha. I even finished the lip makeup meticulously today.
