Fair and Matte Base Makeup for Winter (feat. How to Use Ameli Purple Cushion)

Today's post is about what I did well during my trip to Jeju Island!
This is a post about a milky, matte base makeup look 🤍

 

Doesn't the pure white feeling look especially nice in winter?
I think I prefer natural makeup in the summer, but in the winter, I'm actually more drawn to white and matte makeup!

 

So I finally
I actually figured out a way to use the Amelie purple cushion that used to be such a burden!❣️
It is really great to use this as a tone-up cushion as the last step of your base makeup!

 

Aside from the base, the eye and lip makeup are the same as the pink makeup I usually wear! Since I'm focusing on the base today, I'll just attach a link to the pink makeup tutorial ☺️

STEP 1. Apply cushion foundation to skin with a solid base

 

 

I compared it with other cushions/foundations I have!
The one in the middle is the Espoir I used!

You can see that the Espoir cushion has a perfectly pretty, clear ivory shade, right?
So it is absolutely perfect for the clear, radiant skin I want to achieve!

STEP 2. Brighten areas you want to make even brighter with Ameli's Purple Cushion

 

 

Hey... it's originally this color, so I haven't been able to use it for a while, you know?
Then I only applied the Espoir cushion, but it felt like it lacked some radiance. So I tried this one, and my skin turned perfectly and naturally white!
I think it should be used to add a brightening accent to skin that already has foundation, rather than as a base on bare skin.
I wouldn't be able to use it on its own...

STEP 3. Finish with powder to set a matte finish.

At this point, instead of the soft puff that originally came with it, please use a puff designed for cushion foundation and press it firmly onto your skin!

This way, it coats the skin with an extra, very thin layer of powder like a cushion, fills in pores better, and is really good…
