Bioderma Atoderm Stick Levres Lip Balm Review

 

It's late summer... My husband, who had been constantly out for site inspections due to a sudden increase in additional construction work, must have been too exhausted to handle it... He contacted me this morning saying his lips hurt. They weren't cracked like that when he left for work... I suspect it might be because the dryness just got excessive.

 

I had a few new lip balms at home, but...

What is the use of having lip balm covered in gold dust at home?

It's important to apply it right now, while you're in pain...

So, after searching online, I told them to quickly go to an Olive Young near the site and show me the condition of their lips... and they said the employee recommended Bioderma lip balm.

I got a message before dinner... saying they'd been applying it constantly whenever they had a spare moment all afternoon, and that it looks much better haha.

And after that, they made sure to carry it around and apply it regularly.

 

Since there was a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, I tried it on myself later... Oh... it applies smoothly, and even when I layered it multiple times, it applied just the right amount of thin film without being excessive.

Usually, I end up wiping off oily residue because it feels uncomfortable, but this leaves a moisturizing finish without any of that. The scent is also subtle and not strong at all, so I liked that it wasn't overwhelming to use. Most of all... I loved that it seems to win you over with just moisture and no stickiness!!

I have a habit of always applying lip balm before lipstick or tint, so this is the perfect daily product for that.

So... it's a good product that has a pretty solid conclusion, haha.

 

However... please keep in mind that if you are looking for this for therapeutic purposes because your lips are severely cracked, or if you are looking for a product with a strong scent, you might be disappointed.

Oh, right... the lid does close securely, but... in some ways, that might not actually be the case. What I mean is... just like how eyebrow pencils can crack if they roll out when you open the lid to use them... this one did the same thing. It cracked, so I'm using it with tape fixed. My husband's in the picture doesn't do that, so maybe it's just mine since I'm so clumsy.
