Soothing and calming aloe pack

This is my first time buying this, but I think it was a failure because it made my skin feel much tighter than I expected. Aloe vera is supposed to make your skin feel more hydrated after application, but after about 10 minutes, it feels like my face is being pulled tight, so I have to wash it off with water again. I bought it because it was advertised as the #1 product during the 2019 Shrek craze, but I guess it just doesn't suit me.
