It's autumn. Skincare in advance??

It's autumn now, and winter will be here soon, right? I've stocked up on a wash-off pack. Since it's a gel type, I think it will be great for moisturizing if I apply it and shower or wash my face right away. I only used face masks for a while during the summer, but now that it's going to get dry, I should start taking care of my skin in advance.
