Espoir Water Splash Sun Serum Review

Lately, I've just been applying various basic skincare products, but I tried the Espoir Water Splash Sun Serum out of curiosity 🤔 ✨

To be honest, I didn't buy this with high expectations; I just tried it out for casual use, but it was better than I thought, so I've been using it ever since. 🙂

My skin type is combination with dehydration, so my cheeks are a bit dry 💧 and only my T-zone tends to be slightly oily 😅

My skin tone is about shade 21, somewhere between neutral and warm, so if I apply a lotion that's too heavy, it pills immediately 😭. I tend to prefer lighter products.

First of all, when I pumped it out, the texture felt like a thin lotion, so it was really easy to apply.

It absorbs quickly when you spread it on ✨ and is almost not sticky, so I found it good to use in the morning 😌

I felt most at ease because it didn't feel like it was cakey even when I applied foundation immediately after using it.

It doesn't quite feel like my skin suddenly looks amazing 🤭 but at least it does make it not look dry.

The scent isn't strong either, so I barely notice it.

It's not the greasy type ✨, so it gives just a natural, subtle glow that isn't overwhelming 🙂

However, since the moisturizing power isn't super strong, I found it better to apply an extra cream on dry days.

To summarize, rather than feeling incredibly special, it feels more like a basic item that is comfortable to use daily.

It's decent for prepping the skin before makeup 👍 so I think I'll keep reaching for it for a while 💛
