I've heard for a long time that green tea is good for the skin.
I happened to remember that I had a lot of unused green tea bags at home, so I thought I'd go ahead and try it to see how it affected my skin. As I was opening one, I noticed the expiration date. Oh my, it's way past.
Is it okay to steep an expired green tea bag in water like this and wash my face with it?
I tried washing a torn green tea bag as a test, and it had a subtle green tea scent and felt moisturizing, so it didn't seem bad.
