Should I avoid fluorescent lights and cell phone light after applying retinol?

Should I avoid fluorescent lights and cell phone light after applying retinol?Should I avoid fluorescent lights and cell phone light after applying retinol?

I have retinol cream and apply it often. As it says on the packaging that it is a night cream, I am told not to expose myself to sunlight after applying it and only to use it at night. However, I am wondering if fluorescent lights are also off-limits after applying retinol cream? In the same vein, I am curious if using a mobile phone light is also prohibited.

I apply retinol cream at night, but I get worried it might be bad to go out during the day, so I scrub my face vigorously in the morning. It feels unfair if I experience side effects because of the lighting, you know? lol

I'm wondering if I shouldn't be exposed to light after applying retinol cream. If anyone knows, please let me know.
