It wasn't moisturizing, so it had a matte finish, which was dry for me since my U-zone is dry. On the other hand, my T-zone, which tends to be a bit oilier, felt dry and stayed put without smudging.

As for breakdown, in the U-zone, rather than breaking down, the skin looked flaky and highlighted dead skin cells. In the T-zone, creasing wasn't severe, but the dryness on the cheeks made the skin look messy.

I recommend that those with dry or combination skin try a test run first. It may feel drying, so if your skin is severely lacking in moisture, I recommend using a more hydrating product.
