Choosing a cleansing foam is a real struggle these daysโฆ Which one is the right one?๐ค
I don't know why it's so hard to even choose a cleansing foam these days. In the past, I used to just grab whatever was on sale, but since my skin condition fluctuates, I've noticed that the feeling after washing my face varies completely depending on the foam. Some leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and tight after rinsing, while others feel moisturizing but lack cleansing power, leaving my skin feeling uncomfortable... It really isn't easy to find the middle ground.
In particular, since there are days when I wear makeup and days when I only apply sunscreen, I worry about whether it is okay to use the same cleansing foam every time. If the cleansing power is strong, I worry about skin irritation, but if I use a mild product, I doubt whether it is cleaning deep into my pores. I also care about the foam type; I find myself constantly searching to see if a dense, thick foam is better, or if a type that dissolves softly is less harsh on the skin.
These days, you just can't ignore the ingredients. As I scrutinize every single detailโwhether it's mildly acidic, contains moisturizing ingredients, or has a mild fragranceโI end up constantly adding items to my cart only to remove them again... ๐ Even though I spend a fortune searching through reviews and comparing products, they often feel different when I actually use them, so it really isn't easy to find a true holy grail.
Still, maybe because cleansing is the first step of my skincare routine, I don't want to just pick anything. I think I'll continue searching until I find a cleansing foam that washes thoroughly without burdening my skin. If I do find my holy grail, I'll be back to leave a review right awayโฆ! โจ
