Can I use cleansing foam twice a day, in the morning and evening?
Hello! I am an ordinary office worker who manages my daily life systematically and is very interested in skin health. Recently, as I have been thinking rationally about my skincare routine, I became curious about the frequency of washing my face, so I decided to leave a question.
My skin type is sensitive and dry, lacking moisture overall and prone to redness. In particular, since my personal color is a Summer Cool tone where a clear complexion is essential, I place great importance on maintaining a clean skin tone. Consequently, I became interested in learning accurate, fact-based methods starting from the cleansing step.
Currently, I naturally use cleansing foam in the evenings to remove impurities accumulated throughout the day. However, I am unsure whether I should use cleansing foam in the morning as well to wipe away the oil and dust secreted overnight, or if simply washing my face with water would be better for the long-term health of my skin barrier.
Would washing my face twice a day, morning and evening, bring positive changes even for someone with a dry and sensitive skin tone like me? Or would it actually strip the skin of its necessary oils? I would appreciate it if those who practice systematic skincare could share accurate information and experiences.
