I looked into buying a face mask for the first time in a while.

I was browsing online to buy a face mask, and I realized that everything I was doing was wrong.

I'm sharing what I found. Just in case there are still people like me~^^

 

☆Why You Should Not Store Face Masks in the Refrigerator☆

The reason is temperature, and the optimal storage temperature for masks is said to be 12 to 15 degrees Celsius. This is reportedly the temperature at which the essence soaked in the sheet maintains its best quality.

However, they say that if you keep it in a cold refrigerator, the oil and water components of the essence separate, and due to this deterioration, it doesn't absorb into the skin and its effectiveness is halved.

However, since it is beneficial to refrigerate the water-soluble gel type, I think I should check carefully before storing it.

 

If you want to use it coolly ☆

They say you should refrigerate it for 10 minutes before use. Since the purpose in the summer is to cool down the body to reduce heat, using it this way should be fine.

 

Store lying flat so that the sheet can firmly hold the ingredients. If stored upright, the essence will pool to one side.

 

Whenever I bought a face mask, I used to put it in the refrigerator right away, or even store it standing upright in the side compartment. Haha. I even used to shove it in there until the expiration date passed... I guess I looked down on it because I didn't buy it with my own money lol. Since I bought it with my own money this time, I'll put it in a visible spot on my vanity and make good use of it.
