Are there any of you who are concerned about your makeup caking or skin feeling hot? 🥹

My skin tends to get flaky, so I always make sure to use an aloe pack before makeup or as part of my evening routine. Lately, I’ve found an amazing combination that has truly boosted my quality of life, so I wanted to share this great tip!

 

 

 

My favorite item these days is the 'Bring Green Aloe 97% Soothing Gel'! The opening of the container is designed with a rounded shape, so I found out that I can apply it directly to my face and massage it like a gua sha without getting my hands dirty. It's so convenient because it keeps my hands clean and delivers a cooling sensation.

 

 

 

 

Here is the most important key tip! If you apply aloe vera gel alone, you've probably noticed that it doesn't fully absorb and just evaporates, or that it feels like it's rubbing off as it hardens later. That's why I always make sure to cover my face with a cotton pad thoroughly soaked in water after placing the aloe vera on it!!

 

 

 

 

Applying a water-soaked cotton pad like this keeps the moisture lasting much longer, and it completely clears up breakouts and redness, so I make sure to do it at least three times a week. The way my makeup applies the next day is truly on a whole new level 👏🏻

 

 

 

 

However... I still haven't found cotton pads that stick perfectly for aloe packs, so I'm currently living the life of a cotton pad nomad ㅠㅠ If anyone knows of thin, sticky cotton pads that are great for aloe packs, please recommend them in the comments!! 💖
