Sharing my personal lip balm tips to reduce dry, flaky lips~
My lips are naturally very dry, so I tend to get peeling skin frequently regardless of the season. In particular, when my lips start to crack, lipstick doesn't apply nicely, and I find it gets worse because I keep picking at them.
So lately, I've been consistently applying a thicker layer of lip balm than usual before bed.
I noticed that when I applied a generous amount—enough to coat my lips white—rather than a thin layer before going to sleep, my lips felt much more moisturized the next morning.
I often found that the loosened dead skin cells would naturally smooth out if I wet my lips with water and gently rubbed them while washing my face in the morning, and it seemed like my lips cracked or flaked less often than before.
I try to reapply lip balm frequently whenever I feel dryness, even during the day, and I also drink water often. Of course, results may vary from person to person, but for me, it has been a quite satisfactory method.
