How to prepare your lips step-by-step before applying lipstick
The thing that stressed me the most every time I applied lipstick was
It was a day when the skin was flaking or the color wasn't applying evenly.
Especially on days when I applied it in a hurry in the morning
Only the center of the lips remains dark, and the edges fade quickly.
The overall makeup didn't look neat.
So these days, before applying lipstick
I am taking care of my lips step by step rather than trying to fix them all at once.
First, after washing your face, when your lips are slightly damp
Gently tidy up your lips with a cotton swab or tissue in the direction of the lip texture.
At this time, do not rub hard.
It is important to wipe very gently in several steps, as if you are just removing dead skin cells.
Then, without applying lipstick right away
Apply a very thin layer of lip balm to prep the surface of your lips.
Even lip balm can actually smudge if applied too thickly.
I tend to use it lightly, just enough to be slightly absorbed.
If you apply lipstick after going through this process
The color develops much more evenly.
The lip line was also naturally defined, making it look much neater.
The difference is especially noticeable in matte lips.
Dry skin is less emphasized, and the overall lip finish stays smooth.
Even in the photo, the lips look well-groomed.
I make sure to do this process these days.
