Every summer, my skin gets super oily but is dry underneath, so my makeup cakes and I constantly get breakouts.
It was really stressful, especially in the afternoons, because my nose and forehead would get oily while my cheeks felt tight.
So, after trying out various things, my skin has stabilized a bit lately, so I thought I'd share the routine I'm currently following!
Then, if I apply a thin layer of hydrating ampoule and finish with a gel-type moisturizing cream, it definitely feels less stuffy!
In the past, I only used matte products because I was worried about oil coming up, but I think the sebum actually came up more because of my inner dryness.
And what was really important was... Change pillowcases frequently + do not touch your face with your hands It was lol. After doing this, my chin acne decreased a lot.
I'm satisfied because since I started taking care of my skin like this lately, my makeup doesn't smudge as much and my skin texture feels a bit more refined!
If you have combination skin, I think it would be good to focus on replenishing moisture rather than using only matte products💙
