Holy grail items for cool summer skin!! 3 soft, bouncy blush combinations that smooth out redness and uneven texture (ft. a cheek routine that prevents base from caking)

Today, I’d like to introduce three layering combinations of blushes that are a perfect match for summer cool tones—combinations I tried myself, loved so much that I’ve settled on them every day. When I got my personal color analyzed, they actually said I don't really care about cool or warm tones... so I usually just use whatever I think looks pretty, but the color combinations turned out better than I expected, so I decided to share them with you!!

anyway I tend to have slight redness on my cheeks and uneven pores, so if I applied blush incorrectly, my base makeup would look cakey or I’d end up looking like a burning sweet potato over time. Also, since I absolutely love blush, using a color with a strong intensity... would turn me into Sweet Potato 2, haha. If you have similar concerns, be sure to check out the three combinations and skincare routine I’m showing you today!

These are the three base, middle, and point blushes I use every day.

  1. 1. Base: Clinique Cheek Pop [21 Ballerina Pop] 2. Middle Cover: Naming Fluffy Powder Blush [Pillow] 3. Point Vitality: Naming Fluffy Powder Blush [Niese]

STEP 1. Achieve a transparent pink tone with Clinique 'Ballerina Pop'

Cheek Pop's signature baked formula is characterized by no powder fallout and a clear, watercolor-like color payoff, isn't it? I recommend applying it by gently patting it on with a wedge puff or a bouncy sponge rather than a powder brush. Its distinctive pale, milky pink color brightens dull cheeks, making them look radiant and transparent.

STEP 2. Naming 'Pillow' to Blurr Pores & Add Mood

This step is the key to my blush routine! The Naming blush has incredibly fine particles, so it fills in skin imperfections and pores, leaving them looking soft and matte, just like a powder finish. The addition of a muted, natural nude pink shade prevents the color from looking unnatural or cakey, creating a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. If your base makeup tends to clump or cake easily on your cheeks, lightly covering up excess oil with a fine powder blush like this significantly improves your makeup's longevity.

STEP 3. A drop of vitality popped with the name 'Nijé'!Holy grail items for cool summer skin!! 3 soft, bouncy blush combinations that smooth out redness and uneven texture (ft. a cheek routine that prevents base from caking)Holy grail items for cool summer skin!! 3 soft, bouncy blush combinations that smooth out redness and uneven texture (ft. a cheek routine that prevents base from caking)Holy grail items for cool summer skin!! 3 soft, bouncy blush combinations that smooth out redness and uneven texture (ft. a cheek routine that prevents base from caking)

Finally, lightly dab the Naming Nije color only onto the very center of your cheeks (the apple zone). Nije is a clear berry pink color full of vitality. Since it has quite high brightness and saturation, applying it broadly on its own might make it look like flushing; however, because you have already created a milky base with Ballerina Pop and Pillow earlier, applying it just as a point accent to the center results in a fresh finish that isn't excessive! My personal tip is to lightly dab the brush with it, then make sure to tap off the excess on the back of your hand or the lid before applying.

Then, layer the product neatly on top, first applying it with a Clinique sponge, followed by applying it with a Naming brush. This will complete a perfect watercolor-style cheek look with a smooth, matte finish on the surface, without any dryness underneath.

For those looking for a blush that gives a clear, milky look without emphasizing redness, I hope you complete a beautiful spring makeup look with these three amazing combinations that I highly recommend!!!
