How I Finally Got Resolved Recurring Skin Troubles Every Change of Season
I imagine many of you are stressed about the recurring skin troubles that always seem to happen whenever the seasons change. I also struggled a lot because my skin would frequently break out, turn red, and develop blemishes whenever the seasons shifted. So, I tried various methods and eventually found my own skincare routine, and lately, I definitely feel like my skin is much more stable.
First, the biggest change I made is my facial cleansing method. In the past, I used products with strong cleansing power, but I found that they actually irritated my skin during the change of seasons. So now, I wash gently with a mild cleanser and use lukewarm water to minimize skin irritation. After washing, I remove moisture by lightly patting my face rather than rubbing it with a towel.
After cleansing, I focus on hydration. After toning my skin, I apply a moisturizing serum or ampoule to deeply hydrate it. I found it more helpful to use a few gentle products rather than applying many different ones.
I also felt that moisturizing is more important than anything else during the change of seasons. Since it is a time when the skin barrier is prone to weakening, I make sure to apply cream to lock in moisture and prevent it from evaporating. On days when my skin is particularly sensitive, I apply a slightly thicker layer to create a protective barrier.
I also use a hydrating mask pack about 2 to 3 times a week to soothe my skin. When my skin feels dry and rough, I can definitely feel its condition improving the next day after using a pack.
Lastly, I am also paying attention to my lifestyle habits. I noticed that simply drinking enough water and getting enough sleep significantly stabilized my skin condition. It seems that during the change of seasons, even a small habit can greatly influence your skin's condition.
If you, like me, have struggled with recurring skin troubles every change of season, trying to minimize irritation and focus on hydration and moisturization will definitely help. 😊
