Every winter, no matter how much lip balm I apply, dead skin cells keep coming off,

Are there any of you who have been worried about your lipstick flaking and cracking?

 

My lips are also very dry, so even just a little bit of heater air...

I'm the type whose skin peels immediately, so I was especially stressed during the winter.

 

In the past, whenever my lips chapped, I used to just blindly apply lip balm,

As a result, the dead skin cells remain exactly as they are.

Actually, the lip product smudged and made it look even messier… 🥲

 

So these days, it's exfoliation → intensive moisturizing → daily moisturizing.

I manage my lip care routine by dividing it into steps like this.

 

Today, I am actually using the one I've been using all winter

Along with lip exfoliation & lip care routine

I’ll introduce the products that I was particularly satisfied with, one by one!

 

 

1️⃣ Unpa Bubi Bubi Lip Scrub

 

 

The product I always use when lip dead skin cells become noticeably flaky is

It is the Unpa Bubi Bubi Lip Scrub.

I use it about once every 2 to 3 days, based on when my exfoliation is severe.

 

 

 

Unpa Bubi Bubi Lip Scrub is not the granule type.

It is a type that removes dead skin cells by softening them with bubbles.

You can use it without irritation, even on sensitive lips!

 

If you apply it to your lips and rub it gently

It felt like it only removed unnecessary dead skin cells, so the user experience was really good.

 

My lips didn't feel tight even after rinsing with water

On the contrary, it became smooth and soft.

I found myself making sure to take this as a pre-lip care step.

Use Unpa Bubi Bubi Lip Scrub before lip makeup

Exfoliating definitely reduces lip product smudging!

 

 

2️⃣ Torriden Solid-in Ceramide Lip Essence

 

 

Moisturizing is really important after exfoliation,

I apply a generous amount of Torriden Solid-in Ceramide Lip Essence before going to bed.

 

Since it is an essence type, it is not too heavy, and

It applies smoothly to the lips and keeps them moisturized for a long time overnight.

 

 

When I wake up in the morning, my lips feel much more comfortable.

The next day, I felt that less dead skin was coming off.

 

I am really satisfied with it as a night lip care product.

 

 

3️⃣ Mentholatum Water Lip Lip Balm

 

 

Lightly applicable when going out

I use Mentholatum Water Lip Balm frequently.

 

This is a product I bought at Don Quijote in Japan.

 

 

It has a refreshing, non-sticky texture.

It isn't heavy even when applied over makeup,

It is perfect as a daily lip balm.

 

 

4️⃣ Bioderma Atonum Stick Levres (Recommended Alternative)

 

 

If you are having trouble finding Mentholatum Water Lip Balm

I recommend Bioderma Atonum Stick Levres!

 

 

I am using it quite well in a similar way.

 

The difference between the two lip balms is

Mentholatum Water Lip Lip Balm

The fact that it is a slightly oilier product!

 

Honestly, as for a product that provides intense hydration in the winter...

I would like to recommend Mentholatum Water Lip Balm more, but...

I looked it up and found out it's international shipping...

So, I’ve brought some alternative recommendations as well!
