Olive Young items I must buy again vs. Worst items I would never buy again 🙅‍♀️ Honest review

Among the beauty items I have been using since the Olive Young sale last June,

I’ve brought you the best items I was satisfied with and the worst items that were a bit disappointing.

Then let's get started right away!

 

💖 Best Item

1. Laneige Neo Cushion Mui 17W

As someone who loves the Laneige cushion

This time, Neo Cushion Mui

I bought this because I was curious since it is said to be somewhere between glow and matte.

 

After applying it, it is definitely semi-matte.

It felt moisturizing yet adhered perfectly to the skin.

I especially loved the staying power with almost no darkening.

On hot days, a little oil comes to the surface and it does get wiped off, but

Even if you make slight adjustments on top of it, it won't collapse.

I was satisfied because it went back up nicely.

 

 

I have a warm undertone, but I prefer a bright type, so

I usually used to use size C.

Laneige's W version is also less yellow, so

I was able to choose without any pressure.

 

Plus, it's coming out as a limited edition set with a C-curl eyelash curler during this sale.

I think this would be helpful for those of you who are having trouble deciding on a color.
If you don't have extremely dry skin, this is a cushion you'll love using in the fall and winter!

2. Etude Ginger Sugar Overnight Lip Mask

I tend to use lip balm very often, so I've tried various products.

This is seriously… a holy grail item!

You don't have to apply a lot before bed; just swiping it on is enough.

The next morning, the dead skin peels off smoothly without any irritation!

 

 

It has a thick and sticky texture, so it might be a little inconvenient, but

Still, the next day with fair lips + a plump look

My lips looked pretty all day, so I was very satisfied.
I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't been able to find a lip balm yet!

 

😢 Worst item

1. Giverny Close-fitting Cover Cushion 17C

I have combination skin, so I prefer matte finishes on hot days; I tried buying this based on a friend's recommendation.

I don't think we were a good match.

 

 

The most disappointing thing was the color scheme.

Despite being 17C, it has a yellowish tint

It wasn't the bright tone I was hoping for.
There was also some darkening, becoming slightly cloudy over time.

Also, since the texture is extremely matte, it cakes immediately if applied thickly.

It fixed quickly, so it wasn't easy to spread.

This cushion just didn't suit me at all 😭

 

2. Bring Green Super Lemon Glutathione Sleeping Pack

I usually say, “I wish it would brighten up from the inside out.”

I often looked for whitening lines saying, "I want to manage blemishes and freckles."
I tried using the Bring Green serum and sleeping pack together.

I was satisfied with the serum, but the sleeping pack was a bit disappointing.

 

 

I liked that it was a gel texture with capsules and was very moisturizing, but

It was too watery, so controlling the amount was essential.
Most of all, I started getting a few minor breakouts on my skin.

I can feel the synergy when using the serum with the activator.

I didn't notice a significant whitening effect with the sleeping pack alone.
If I had to recommend one... maybe just for the moisturizing power?

Other than that, I didn't see much merit in it, so I put it in the worst items.
