How to prevent and get rid of cellulite

 

(1) Regular aerobic exercise

Aerobic exercise helps reduce body fat and promotes blood circulation, which in turn helps reduce cellulite. It is recommended to regularly engage in activities such as walking, jogging, and swimming.

 

(2) Adequate fluid intake

It is important to eliminate waste products from the body by consuming sufficient fluids. In addition to water, teas such as green tea and ginger tea are also beneficial for health and effective in improving cellulite.

 

(3) Avoid high-carbohydrate and high-fat diets & consume foods rich in dietary fiber

Carbohydrates cause a rapid increase in blood sugar and insulin levels, and insulin stores sugar as subcutaneous fat. This promotes the formation of cellulite. Dietary fiber improves gut health and helps eliminate toxins and waste. It is also recommended to consume probiotics and prebiotics together to prevent leaky gut syndrome and maintain the balance of gut bacteria.

(4) Massage

Massage helps move and eliminate waste products from the body and improves blood and lymphatic circulation. For example, for the legs, it is effective to cup your hands and tap the groin area five times, moving slightly from the outside inward, or to lie face down, place golf balls on either side of the pubic bone, support your upper body with your elbows, and hold for 15 seconds.

 

(5) Avoid tight-fitting underwear or clothes

It is aggravated by tight-fitting underwear, skinny jeans, compression stockings, and tight-fitting t-shirts that hinder circulation.

 

 

(6) Maintaining the correct posture

Lifestyle habits stemming from poor posture lead to muscle deformation, and abnormal muscle movements damage ligaments or tendons, causing inflammation. Since this inflammation is a direct cause of cellulite, you must consciously strive to maintain good posture.

 

(7) Avoid environmental pollution

Endocrine disruptors such as environmental hormones, as well as heavy metals and toxic substances, accumulate significantly not only in the subcutaneous fat layer but also in the extracellular matrix itself, which can cause cellulite. It is recommended to use cosmetics and detergents made with natural ingredients whenever possible, and to grow plants that purify the indoor air.
