When do I double cleanse? My cleansing routine

On days when I only wear light sunscreen, I only use foam cleanser.

However, on days when I wear waterproof makeup, I feel like once isn't enough, so I cleanse my face twice.

On days when I wear heavy makeup, I double cleanse. I wipe off all the makeup once with cleansing oil or cream, and then use a foam cleanser.

I heard that excessive double cleansing can actually strip away moisture or cause inflammation, so I cleanse like this.
