I have dry skin, but I prefer a matte finish, so let me introduce my current base routine ๐ฉท
Although I have dry skin, I prefer a matte finish, especially during this ambiguous transitional season as it starts to get warmer.
I thought Iโd share the bass routine Iโve been doing regularly lately!!

These are products I use regularly almost every day these days.

Sunscreen: Dalba Waterful Essence Sunscreen
Cushion: Finbe Crystal Glow Cushion
Pant: I'm Meme Purple Cotton Tone Control Pact
It is like this!!
Iโll briefly introduce the steps in the order of application.
True to its name, this sunscreen applies smoothly and moisturizes. It doesn't leave a white cast, but it creates a subtle glow after application. Even though it lacks tone correction, it makes the skin look naturally hydrated and beautiful. ๐ฅฐ
I believe this cushion comes in two types, Matte and Glow, and mine is the Glow version!! The coverage isn't super amazing, but it's decent enough for covering blemishes and adjusting the overall skin tone. Since it's a Glow type, it blends naturally with the moisturizing sunscreen I applied in the previous step, creating a really pretty dewy glow ๐ If you're looking for a subtle glow, I think you'll be very satisfied even if you stop right here.
However, since I am an extreme matte type, I am the kind of person who absolutely must use powder, even if only partially ๐ซ so I don't stop here.
This is a purple pact designed with a focus on tone correction, and it really, really brightens up your complexion ๐ You can visibly see the radiance even if you use it only partially, like under your eyes or on your cheekbones. It corrects your tone naturally without looking cakey, even when you just dab it on with the included puff. Itโs my current favorite item because it provides a tone-up effect and a matte finish without breaking down the hydrating base I built up in the previous step.

Since it feels awkward to end it here, let me add...
I believe that a solid foundation is essential for all base products to apply well. Since it is the change of seasons, choosing skincare products can often be tricky. Winter products feel too heavy, while summer products feel too light. Because of this, my skin often feels messy around this time of year, so lately, I have been mixing and applying a winter cream and a summer cream, switching the formula depending on my skin condition every day.
I think the advantage of mixing products is that you can change the blend daily depending on the weather or your skin condition, allowing you to finish your daily skincare routine in the best possible condition.
Since I prefer a matte finish, I need to build a solid base so that even if I apply a matte base, the makeup doesn't break down from within and stays put all day long.
If you are concerned about your base makeup caking or your skin feeling tight, I recommend trying different combinations of the skincare products you already have before applying a base, rather than adding new ones. ๐
