A skincare routine to ensure base makeup adheres perfectly without caking.

I used to be really worried because my base makeup kept caking and dead skin cells were becoming more noticeable in this dry weather, but it has definitely improved since I changed my skincare routine.

In the past, I used to apply my basic skincare haphazardly and go straight into makeup, but now, after cleansing, I focus on layering toner multiple times to hydrate deep into my skin.

In particular, I found that using a cotton pad to smooth out the skin texture significantly improved the adherence of my makeup.

Next, apply a thin layer of light essence and moisturizing cream, but the important thing is to let it absorb fully.

If you apply foundation immediately before it is fully absorbed, it is prone to smudging, so I leave a gap of at least 3 to 5 minutes.

Also, before applying makeup, it helped to avoid oily products and use a small amount only on the necessary areas.

Since changing my routine like this, my makeup adheres much more naturally and stays put without caking even by the afternoon, so I am very satisfied. I can definitely feel that just taking good care of the basic skincare steps makes a difference in the quality of your makeup 👍
