Stick foundations that don't suit me

My skin isn't on the dewy side, so I don't prefer matte products. That's why I use a moisturizing cushion for my base makeup.

I had a chance to use a stick foundation this time, so I tried it out.

It seemed moisturizing because there is an ampoule ingredient in the center, and I thought it would make applying makeup easy.

The white part in the center is the ampoule.

Hmm, but um...

I wonder if I applied it incorrectly because it was my first time using it, if this is just this product, or if this type of product simply doesn't suit my skin.

The stick didn't spread evenly between the areas where it was applied and where it wasn't. I tried using a brush, but the difference persisted, and the brush strokes kept remaining on my skin. The finish was patchy, so I eventually washed it off and applied a different product.

Please take note if you have dry skin.
