Here are a few hair care recommendations for the summer rainy season!!
I have maintained long hair for a long time, but it is thick, frizzy, and curly. Because of this, I absolutely have to spend a fortune on a hair straightening treatment once a year just to be able to style it neatly and calmly. That is why I was always so envious of actresses on TV who have such flowing, shiny hair. However, no matter how hard I try, it is difficult to catch up to natural talent, and it is hard for me to spend large sums on skin, body, and hair like celebrities do. So, I am managing my unruly hair as best I can within my means, and I would like to recommend a few of them!
- Dyson Airwrap (+Coanda Smoothing Dryer)
I bought my Dyson about three years ago, but I noticed the price has gone up a lot lately. I was shocked. Of course, the barrels and other parts have been upgraded, but... it's still approaching 600,000 won. I bought mine in the 400,000 won range a few years ago and I'm still using it well; I consider it one of the best purchases I've ever made that I don't regret spending the money on!! I highly recommend it to any friends who are considering buying one. The head included in the photo was purchased separately from the official website a few months ago. It's called the Coanda Smoothing Dryer, and it's supposed to smooth out hair using Dyson's special technology. However, it was incredibly difficult to find on the official website, so I signed up for a restock notification and barely managed to get my hands on it. I'm satisfied with the result. It doesn't make your hair completely silky, but it does make it quite smooth.
2. Sidmool Hair Therapy
Since I have sensitive skin, I have always liked and frequently used the Sidmool brand. I usually used their toners, creams, essences, and serums, but I noticed they also had a hair essence, so I decided to give it a try. I have been using it for several months now and am very satisfied. If I use products that are too oily, my hair can look greasy and sometimes cause breakouts where it touches my skin, but I like that this Sidmool Hair Therapy doesn't do that. If you haven't been able to find a hair essence to settle on yet, I think you should give this a try.
3. Aveda comb
At first, I wondered why anyone would spend tens of thousands of won on a comb... but once I made the big decision to buy it, I’ve been using it well for several years now, so I highly recommend it. Since it’s made of wood, it’s sturdy, and the part that touches the scalp is just the right balance of soft and firm. My hair is frizzy and thick, but I love how it combs right down to my scalp so it feels refreshing. Also, when you need to clean it, fill the sink with warm water, add a little shampoo, and soak only the comb part—making sure the wood doesn't touch the surface as much as possible—then gently wipe it clean. However, since there are holes in the comb that can get water inside, you need to make sure to dry it thoroughly!
4. Tangle Teezer
This is the comb I used before buying the Aveda comb. It gently untangles frizzy and knotted hair rather than the scalp. So, I keep both the Aveda comb and this Tingle Teezer on my vanity and use them interchangeably depending on the situation. Since this comb is portable, I take it with me on trips lasting more than one night. I recommend it!
