Hello. I am a man who, until now, would either not apply anything after washing my face or just use whatever was lying around the house.
I didn't really pay much attention to my skin; I used to just apply whatever I grabbed, or sometimes I'd start using it and then stop. Recently, however, my face has felt so dull and dry that it surprised me a bit. I feel like I should start taking better care of it now, but I really don't know anything about it, so I'm asking for your advice.
I searched online and saw that there are all-in-one products as well as options where you apply toner and lotion separately. What criteria do you usually use when choosing one? I'm not sure if my skin is oily or dry, and I also dislike products that feel too greasy. I'm just curious about what the basic essentials are.
Since I tend to be out and about often, I'm also looking to buy a sunscreen. Could you recommend one that doesn't leave a white cast and isn't sticky? I would appreciate your advice on whether I need to scrutinize every single ingredient when choosing cosmetics, or if I can just buy one with lots of reviews. Please treat this as starting my skincare routine from scratch, so I would be very grateful for any helpful information you can provide.
